On behalf of the RCC Board of Directors I would like to extend a heartfelt invitation to this years annual event. The location is the Reed Valley ranch located in the hills outside Hemet CA. This historic cattle ranch was established in 1817 and has been under the same family management for over 65 years. This ranch is known for its quality Angus cattle. The oak groves, lush valleys and rugged hills make this a favorite “return site” for RCC. The ride dates are October 12-16.

Several additional items of good news. In addition to our famous scenic trail rides, fierce horseshoe tournaments, and cowboy races, we will be having optional cattle events each day of the ride. Like last year we will have novice and advanced divisions to allow everyone to have a good time. Most noteworthy for this year however is the fact that, despite the crazy inflation we are all experiencing, we were able to limit the price increase for the ride to only $25. ( see pricing below including the “early bird discount” ).

So…here is a brief summary of the ride. After setting up camp Wednesday morning we will have a brief Presidents ride starting at 3 pm. PLEASE NOTE: The first served meal on the ride will be Wednesday dinner so please bring your lunch if needed for Wednesday. The next several days will be a combination of optional trail rides, cattle events, horseshoes, and/or just relaxing in camp. As usual Saturday will be a day of competition in camp as we again compete for the coveted all around and top hand buckles as well as the big money in the Calcutta. Saturday will also have an optional trail ride.

Saving the best for last … Saturday evening will be a special party with friends and families as we enjoy a delicious meal, cowboy music, and western dancing. SO…. Invite your friends, clean up your saddles, leg up your horses and let’s make this the best RCC ride in history.
